John's medicine wheel workshops are not another exercise in talk therapy, but a series of experiential, interactions with Mother Nature/Spirit/One's Higher Self - which can seem gentle and unobtrusive, but culminate into powerful insights allowing one to step back, gain new wisdom for painlessly coping with life's changes, to view catastrophic losses as powerful lessons that are now actually enhancing the current living experience with wisdom and awareness. Never preachy, never group guru, John is an authentic luminous warrior who deftly handles group dynamics with a master's subtle touch. His gentle guidance creates a safe zone and assurance, which helps a person strip away life-long defenses and to experience the medicine wheel lessons - not from a traditional Western approach of dissecting and analyzing mind chatter - but of gently guiding the participant through the experiences enabling the participant to surrender to the experience and to emerge with profound insights. The workshops are fun, lively, and incorporate an outdoor setting. These teachings create the foundation for interacting with and appreciating the lessons Spirit gives via the outdoors on a deeply profound level.
